Girly Girl

Having a little girl to dress is so much fun! I hope she enjoys getting all dressed up when she gets older because I am having way too much fun with all of the cute outfits and matching bows.

Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

It wasn't yellow, and it wasn't a bikini, but Eden debuted her cute pink polka dot bathing suit for the first time tonight. We decided that the water was warm enough to get her in the pool and see how she reacted to the water. As usual, she enjoyed herself and had fun relaxing in the float.
Parker has done great in the water this year! He hasn't shown any fear and is already jumping off the side after only being in the water a few times this season. I think we have a little fish on our hands.

Outside Fun

The weather was beautiful today so we spent the evening playing outside. Parker started out with a ride on Daddy's new riding lawn mower. He then had fun playing with bubbles. The bubbles would land on the ground without popping so he would run over and pop them with the bubble wand.

While we were playing I looked over and saw a little turtle walking down the driveway. We showed it to Parker and at first he did not pay any attention to it. (So far, he has shown very little interest in picking up or even touching any kind of animal.) After a few more minutes, he ran over to the turtle, picked it up, and brought it over for us to see. Unfortunately for the turtle, he dropped it 4 times as he was walking. Thank goodness for hard shells!! We were both very surprised at how interested he was in the turtle.

What was Eden doing during all of this fun? Just watching Parker and being her happy, go lucky self. She is such a content baby and we are having so much fun as she gets bigger and can interact with us more and more. She is such a blessing!!

It's About Time!!!

After several requests from family and friends, I have finally joined the world of blogging. Now that both of our kids are going to bed at a reasonable hour and sleeping through the night, I am excited to have a little bit of time to myself so that I can give you a view into our daily lives. I hope you will all enjoy staying in touch with our family, especially those of you who live far away and don't get to see us as much as we would like. Take care and enjoy!
