Golf Camp

Parker finished golf camp last week and loved it!  He has been golfing with Granstan a couple of times but has never had any formal instruction.  We found a set of golf clubs for him at a friend's garage sale and they worked perfectly for him this week.  He had a great time learning to hit and they even got to play a few holes on the golf course on the last day.
On the last day of camp, they gave out a couple of awards and Parker earned the Etiquette Award.
Because he earned the Etiquette Award, he was given a free round of golf, so Cory took him to play early this morning.  Golf camp was a great experience and I have a feeling that there will be a lot more golf in Parker's future!

BClan Reunion 2016

Yesterday was our annual BClan reunion at Heath's house.  We look forward to this day all year and had a great time catching up with old friends.
The kids loved the water slide that Heath rented for the party.  They went back and forth between the pool and the water slide and didn't stop until it was time to go home!
It was a great day and we are so thankful that Heath continues to host the reunion year after year!

Meeting Baby Holland

Our new niece/cousin, Holland Lee Harshey, finally arrived last Friday morning!  We got to go up to the hospital and meet her and she is absolutely perfect!  It felt so good to be holding a newborn again and it makes you realize just how quickly they grow up!
The kids all took turns holding Holland and they were all smitten with their new cousin!
All 7 cousins!
Just the girls!
The Harshey Family- party of 3!!
Aunt MerMer had a long delivery but looked great!
Holland and Granstan
Holland and Granna
Holland and Uncle Craig
The kids made a Welcome Home sign for Holland!
Today Cory was off of work, so I drove over and spent the entire day with Meredith and Holland.  I enjoyed all of the baby snuggles so much!
We are so excited about the new addition to our family and can't wait to make lots of memories with sweet baby Holland!

18th Anniversary

18 years and counting!
Cory and I were able to get away for a few hours tonight (thanks Emily and Jon for watching the kids!) and enjoyed a great dinner at Del Frisco's.  It was a nice evening away even though we had to get back to pick Parker up from baseball practice!  I can't imagine doing life with anyone but Cory.  He's been my rock for more than half of my life and I'm looking forward to growing old with him!  Happy Anniversary, Cory!  I love you very much!

Happy Father's Day

Cory and I have both been blessed with great dads and Cory is an incredible dad to our kids!  I hope they all three know how much we love and appreciate them!
We spent the day at Parker's last baseball tournament of the season.  It was very hot and they didn't win but Cory said there's nothing he'd rather be doing on Father's Day than spending time with his kids.
I am so grateful for all of the sacrifices Cory makes for our family and I hope the kids will always know how blessed they are to have such a wonderful dad!  Happy Father's Day, Cory!  We love you very much!

39th Birthday

Yesterday Emily and I celebrated our 39th birthday. We spent the day hanging out at the house and letting Cory rest from his treatment last week. He tends to crash a couple of days after he finishes his treatment which meant that he didn't get out of bed most of the day.  He was able to go to dinner with Emily, Jon and I while my mom kept the kids.  We went to Abuelo's for Mexican food and then went back to her house for swimming, cake, and presents.
While we were at dinner, the kids practiced a special birthday song and surprised us when we got home!  It was definitely one of the best gifts of the day!
As always, I enjoyed spending my birthday evening with Emily.  I'm excited to start the last year in my 30's.  I hope there are great things in store for me and my family!
