March Little Things

March was a busy month but with the end of school approaching, it is only going to get busier.  Here are a few things from last month that are worth remembering:

Eden's class was learning about Texas so she made a book about cowboys.  Cowboys can never be too careful around "snacks"!!!
Lily loves our new dog Maggie but she will always have a special place in her heart for Brinkley.
Lily's friend Hazel had her birthday party the Saturday before Easter and had a huge Easter egg hunt for her friends.  Lily and Eden both came home with a full basket of treats!
One night while the guys were at baseball practice, I introduced the girls to TV trays.  They thought they were the coolest things EVER!  They have asked to eat almost every meal since on them!
The girls (and Maggie) enjoyed a FunDip outside on night after dinner.  That is one treat that is never allowed in my house!
Lily found a ladybug while playing outside one evening.
Parker and Eden both sold 5 items for our school fundraiser so they got to go to the snowcone party one day at school.
Cory took Parker to get his hair cut and sent me this picture of the kids being silly at Mr. Mickey's!
One Friday, Eden begged Granstan to drive her to school in his Corvette and of course he said yes!
The new Cleburne Eye Clinic opened this month and Cory saw the very last patient at the old clinic.
Cory took Parker out to Heath's one afternoon and texted me this picture of Parker shooting guns.  Parker loved it and can't wait to go back and do it again.
And now we are ready for April!  We have a lot of things coming up so it should be a fun month!

Easter 2016

We had a great weekend celebrating Easter with our family.  We woke up on Sunday morning, opened the kids Easter baskets and searched for the eggs the Easter Bunny had hidden.
I love that the girls will still let me dress them in matching dresses on special occasions.  They tend to be on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to clothes, so I know it probably won't last much longer.  They both looked so pretty with their straight hair!

After church, Emily and the kids drove over for our annual Easter egg hunt at Granna's.  We can't wait to add Baby Holland to our cousin picture next year!
The weather was perfect and the kids had fun hunting eggs in Granna's front yard.  It's fun to be able to hide the eggs in harder spots now that they are getting older.
The "bigs" (they are starting to look so mature)
The "middles"
The "littles" (Lily was NOT thrilled about taking her picture with Ryan but we finally got her to cooperate)
The kids were thrilled to find money inside a lot of their eggs!  Thanks Granna for a fun Easter Sunday!  We always look forward to spending the day with you!

Thursday School Easter Egg Hunt

After Ryan's Easter egg hunt, we went to Lily's Easter egg hunt at Thursday School.  Lily was so sweet and let Ryan help her with everything, including hunting for her eggs.

They opened the eggs together and even shared their snack!  I love that they love each other so much!

It was another fun Easter egg hunt with Mrs. Angie and all of Lily's sweet friends at Thursday School!

Sunshine Easter Egg Hunt

This week was full of Easter celebrations.  On Wednesday, Lily had her Easter egg hunt at Sunshine Preschool.  She did a great job finding her eggs numbered 1-12!

Because her hunt was on Wednesday, Daddy got to join us!
Granstan's cousins from Ohio were visiting this week and Lily begged them to come to her hunt.  I'm sure attending a preschool Easter egg hunt was exactly what they wanted to do on their vacation!  They were so sweet to come and watch her hunt for her eggs!
On Thursday, Ryan had his Easter egg hunt at Sunshine Preschool.  My sister and mom were both busy so I volunteered to go and be with him during his egg hunt.  Just like Lily, he did a great job finding his eggs!  I am so glad I get to spend time with him on Tuesdays and Thursdays while my sister is at work.
