August Little Things

It seemed like we blinked our eyes and summer was over!  We had a great summer and first two weeks of school.  Here are some of our August little things.

We took advantage of our last day before I had to start inservice and used our free passes at Pirates Cove.  Uncle Jon brought the cousins and we had a fun day in the sun!
We met up with Aunt MerMer, Uncle Craig and Holland for dinner and then ended the night with popsicles from Steel City Pops!

While Emily and I were at inservice, the kids enjoyed playing with the cousins at Granna's house.
Eden enjoyed helping her sweet friend, Reagan, celebrate her birthday at Buffalo Nickels arcade.
Lily had a great First Day of First Grade!
Our PE teacher was so sweet to send me a few pictures of Lily at PE during the first week of school.
Lily "coloring" with Holland after school one day!
Parker and Maggie enjoying some down time together.
Me and Parker on Grizzly Pride Day.  I was shocked that he wanted to wear a blue tutu to school!
All 4 of us showing our Grizzly Pride!
We enjoyed a night out with the clinic at the Railroaders game.  It's always fun to spend time with the other doctors and their spouses.
August is over and I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures that September will bring!

Back to School 2017

It's hard to believe it's already time for school to start again!  We had Meet the Teacher on Monday and our first day of school today.

Parker is starting 5th grade and will have two teachers this year- Mrs. Holland for Homeroom/Language Arts/Social Studies and Mrs. Thames for Math/Science.  It's hard to believe that this is his last year of elementary school.
Eden is starting 3rd grade and will have Mrs. Click.
And Lily is starting 1st grade and will have Mrs. Brightwell.
The kids were all excited to get to school this morning and they all came home excited from their first day of school!  I know it's going to be a great year for all of us!

Special Day Out with Granna

This summer, Granna took each of the kids for a special one on one day with her.  They got to spend the night and then decide what they wanted to do the next day.

Parker opted not to spend the night and just wanted to go to Peter Piper Pizza with Granna for lunch.
Lily spent the night and then chose to eat lunch at Panda Express and go shopping at Target.
Eden spent the night, had donuts for breakfast, and then asked to go to Build a Bear.
She had enough money left over for lunch at Peter Piper Pizza and a few games.
All three kids loved their special days with Granna.  I hope this is something they will get to do year after year!

July Little Things

Between Pine Cove and Colorado, we stayed very busy in July.  Here are a few pics of what we did on our lazy summer days at home.

We used the hot weather as an excuse to eat lots of ice cream!
The hot weather kept us inside most days so the kids might have gotten a little extra screen time to keep them busy on those long days.
Eden still took piano lessons during the summer.  Here she is waiting for her lesson to start one day.
And here are Lily and I waiting for her to finish her lesson one day!
We went to the cousins to play one day and it completely wore the kids out.  It takes a lot for them to fall asleep in the car these days so I knew they were exhausted!
Maggie is such a good dog unless we forget to put the trash can up!  This was really fun to come home to!!
Apparently Lily can be just as messy as Maggie sometimes!
We enjoyed getting to play with Holland this summer!  She is getting to be so fun!
It's hard to believe that July is over and school is just around the corner !  This summer has gone way too fast!
