Lucky Me

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I am so lucky to get to be mommy/Aunt Amy to six of the greatest kids in the world!
They make my days brighter and bring so much joy to our family!
I love them all so much and often wonder what I did to get so lucky!

I hope they feel as lucky today as I do!

A Few More Wedding Pics

I know I've already done a post on Meredith and Craig's wedding, but I got some more pictures from a friend that I wanted to add.
This could be one of my favorite from the day.  The only thing missing is Eden, who had gotten upset a few moments prior and refused to be in it.
All the kids with Aunt MerMer... another favorite!
One of my best friends from college did all of the flowers for the wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous!
A few pics from the ceremony and reception

Happy Wedding Day Aunt MerMer and Uncle Craig!

We were so excited to wake up on Meredith's wedding day to beautiful weather!  It could not have been a more perfect day for an outside wedding!

We arrived at the Ashton Depot bright and early in order to start getting ready for the 11am wedding.  Meredith's friend Angie did our hair/makeup and Meredith's old roommate Megan curled all of the little girls' hair.
By 9:30, we were all dressed and ready for pictures!  Everyone looked stunning, especially Aunt MerMer!  When Parker saw her for the first time, he said, "Wow, Mom!  She looks... so pretty!".  The kids (for the most part) were very cooperative for all of their pictures with Aunt MerMer.  I can't wait to share some of my favorites once we get them back from the photographer.  For now, here are some of my favorite candids that I took with my camera that day.
The ceremony was beautiful and Parker and Addison did a great job as the ring bearer and flower girl!  The food at the reception was wonderful and it was great to visit with family and friends that we haven't seen in a long time.

We are so excited to welcome Uncle Craig into our family and wish he and Aunt MerMer a lifetime of love and happiness!

Aunt MerMer's Rehearsal Dinner

Last weekend, we were so excited to be a part of Aunt MerMer and Craig's wedding.  We have been looking forward to this day for a long time and couldn't wait to celebrate with them as they started their life together.

We began the weekend with the rehearsal at the Ashton Depot.  Even though we had some cold weather earlier in the week, we lucked out and got two beautiful 75 degree days on Friday and Saturday, which was perfect since the wedding was outside!

Parker and Addison both did a great job learning how to be a flower girl and ring bearer.
The Ashton Depot is an old train depot that has been turned into a venue for weddings and other events.  The kids (especially Ryan) LOVED watching all of the trains that went by during the rehearsal.
After the rehearsal, we enjoyed a wonderful Mexican dinner at Los Vaqueros.  The food was great and it was nice to spend some time with Craig's family.

After dinner, we sent Cory and Jon home with the kids and headed over to Amanda's house for Meredith's lingerie shower with several of her close friends.  It was a fun way to end a great evening of celebration!

ARF!

Last Tuesday, Parker participated in his first grade PTA program called ARF!  All of the students dressed up like dogs and performed several songs. Parker did a great job with his speaking part!
I had been a little under the weather all day so I was glad I was finally feeling good enough to come and watch the show.
Parker was excited that Addison and Aubrey were able to come watch his performance.
The first graders and their music teacher, Ms. Bell, worked hard and did a great job on their program!
