Colorado 2017- Day 1

We decided to go up to the Fun Park on our first day in Breckenridge. We thought it would be less crowded since it was in the middle of the week. 

It was a great day full of fun activities! I was so proud of Eden for trying all the activities this year- even the bungee trampoline.

The alpine slide is always a favorite!

We spent a lot of time at the tubing/zip line/obstacle course area.

The kids all loved the maze this year too!

Lunch on the mountain

After lunch the kids all split up and did different things. Some chose mini golf, some chose rock climbing, some rode the roller coaster, and some rode the alpine slide one more time.

After dinner, we took the kids swimming. Even thought the pool was heated, it was still chilly and they spent a lot of time going back and forth between the pool and hot tubs to warm up.

The kids were exhausted by the end of the day! It was a great first day in the mountains!

Colorado 2017- On the Road

We just got back from a wonderful week in Colorado! It’s always hard to come back to the Texas heat after being in the mountains. But we brought back a lot of fun memories with us to last us until next summer! 

We carpooled with Emily and her family and stopped at a rest stop for lunch. 

The kids love getting to switch cars and ride with each other!

We finally got a picture with the Colorado state sign! We’ve either missed it or it’s been raining the past two years but we finally got our picture!

We were starving by the time we got to the hotel. Mexican food was just what we needed at the end of a long day!

We let the kids swim before bed which was a nice way to let them unwind.

We stopped at another park for lunch on the second day of traveling and let the kids run around for a little while before finally driving our last few hours to Breckenridge.

It was an uneventful two days of driving and we couldn’t wait to get our week in Breckenridge started!
