Colorado 2017- Day 3

One thing all six kids remembered from our previous vacations in Breckenridge was the Tumble Bubbles.  They all requested that we do them again so we went as soon as they opened on Friday.  We decided to let them go youngest to oldest since Lily and Ryan usually have to go last.
After lunch, Addison helped Granna make a pie for dessert.
Another thing all the kids wanted to do again was go to the Children's Museum in downtown Breckenridge.  They spent several hours playing, creating, pretending, dressing up, and exploring all different kinds of things.  It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
It was a busy but relaxing day.  I love that our kids don't really care what we are doing as long as they are with their cousins!

Colorado 2017- Day 2

We started the next day with donuts at the playground. It was nice to take our time and have a relaxing morning after such a busy day the day before.
Breakfast at Clint’s- yum!
After breakfast, the kids begged us to let them play in the river. It was so cold- I don’t know how they stood it! A couple of them were drenched from falling in but they loved it!
After lunch, Emily, Jon and I took all the kids (except Lily) on a hike up to a waterfall.
It ended up being a REALLY long hike- longer than we expected but the kids did great!  They were such troopers and hardly complained about being tired.
We finally made it to the top and were able to sit, have a snack, and enjoy God’s beauty for a while before we headed back down the mountain.
I'm so glad Lily decided to stay home.  She would not have made that long of a hike but she had a lot of fun shopping with Granna!
We treated the kids to ice cream after dinner for being such troopers on the hike.
It was another great day in Breckenridge! I am so thankful for this time away ever year with my family!
