Fort Worth Zoo

Almost all of the schools in our area don’t get out of school until tomorrow, so we took advantage of the great weather and small crowds and spent the morning at the zoo. It was also half price day which made it even better!
I didn’t want to have to push Cory and his broken ankle around the entire zoo so we rented him a scooter!
Because the weather was so nice, all of the animals were out.
The kids begged and begged to feed the birds. It’s always been their favorite thing to do at the zoo.
There were no lines so we let the kids ride the carousel.
On the way back to the front of the zoo, the kids asked to stop and pet the snakes.
It really was the perfect day to go to the zoo! I’m so glad we were able to have a fun family day together before the busy holidays start next week!

Christmas Parties

Today was the kid's Christmas parties at school.  Lily's class decorated gingerbread houses at her party.
Eden's class had a brunch and played several fun games.
Mrs. Click was such a good sport!
Parker's class ate and played BINGO.  They also had an ugly sweater contest.  Parker's "Fa La La La Llama" sweater didn't win but it made me laugh!
Let's get a better look at that sweater!
We truly have the best principal and assistant principal.  They dressed up as Elves on the Shelf and greeted the students at the door on the day of the parties.
It was a fun day and now we get to enjoy the holidays!  I'm looking forward to a couple weeks off of school to rest and spend time with our families.

Christmas Program

Tonight we had the annual Gerard Chirstmas program at the high school.  All three kids did a great job singing with their classmates.  This was Parker's last program at Gerard.  Next year we will only have two kids singing on stage.  It's crazy how quickly time flies!  It seems like just yesterday he was performing with his kindergarten class.

The Triplet Reveal

Tonight we had the triplet gender reveal party and finally found out if we were getting more girl cousins, boy cousins, or both!!

First, we made our predictions!
Meredith and Craig revealed each baby’s gender in a different way.

 Baby A is a GIRL!
Baby B is a BOY!
And Baby C is another GIRL!!
Two girls and a boy! It still seems impossible that we’re going to have triplets in our family! We can’t wait to meet these sweet babies in a few months!

3rd Grade Field Trip to Dallas World Aquarium

Today I got to go with Eden and her class to the Dallas World Aquarium.  There were only a few other schools there so we basically had the entire place to ourselves!  I chaperoned a sweet group of kids and really enjoyed my one on one time with Eden.
After we left the aquarium, we ate lunch at a really neat park in Duncanville.  The entire play structure was made out of wood.
Eden's sweet friend Reagan hung out with us at the aquarium too. These girls have been friends since preschool and Eden has missed being together in class with her this year.
It was such a fun day and I am so thankful that I can go on field trips with my kids. I'll always treasure the memories we make together on these days.
