Christmas with Granna and Granstan

Christmas afternoon was spent with Granna, Granstan, and all of the cousins.  This was our first year to host Christmas since Granna and Granstan downsized to a smaller house.  After everyone arrived, we told the kids they couldn't open any presents until we got a family picture.  It didn't take them long to comply!

They opened stockings first.  It was fun to help the triplets open their stockings and presents this year!

After stockings, the kids opened their presents and then we sent the kids to away play while the adults opened their presents.

Eden loved her new camera from Granna and Granstan!

The floor piano was a hit with all the cousins- even the triplets loved taking a turn!

We also played some of the new games the kids got for Christmas.

The weather was so nice so we were able to get outside and play for a little while after dinner.

 The kids all wanted to help Granna with dessert!

It was such a fun Christmas!  We definitely went to bed feeling tired but very blessed!

Christmas 2019

Another Christmas has come and gone!  We had a great day celebrating and spending time with our family!  The kids were excited to wake up see what Santa had brought them this morning.

 The girls got new scooters and a new ride-on toy for outside.

Parker didn't ask for anything big this year so Santa decided to bring him tickets to a Dallas Mavericks basketball game.

 The kids all slept until 7:00 which is much better than last year's 5:30 wake up call!

Even Maggie found a new toy in her stocking!

 

 Parker got new Fortnite pajamas!

And everyone got new books!

 

 

It was a great morning with just the 5 of us!  After a big breakfast, we got everything cleaned up and ready for all the cousins to come over.  A lot more fun was still ahead!

Christmas Eve with Grandma and Papa

We had a nice Christmas Eve with Grandma and Papa.  The kids could not wait to open their presents!

 Eden loved her new Shopkins and Lily was so excited about her new American Girl doll bed.

 

They both loved the floor piano from Aunt Sondra.

 Parker got a lot of new books to add to his collection.

It was a great start to our family Christmas celebrations!  We had a lot of fun but I think we were all feeling as tired as Maggie by the end of the night!
