Christmas 2015

The kids were really tired after we got home from Granna's house but they still made sure to put out their Reindeer Food and leave some cookies and eggnog for Santa.
The kids woke up on Christmas Day excited to what Santa had left!  The each got a Razor scooter
and a note from Santa that read:
"Follow this string and you will find
Something fun that I left behind!
Love, Santa"
They followed the string all around the living room, playroom, kitchen, breakfast table and out the back door to discover that Santa had left them a TRAMPOLINE!!!  They were so excited and shocked that Santa left something that they had not even asked for!
It was still pretty chilly outside so the kids decided to come in and open their stockings and presents while they waited for it to get a little warmer outside.
The one thing the kids wanted but did not get for Christmas this year was a puppy.  We told them that we would start looking for a dog in the next few months and that made them all very happy!

I love that all of our parents are close and that we get to stay at home every year and have Christmas morning with just the five of us.  It is always such a fun and special morning spent together and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Christmas Pajamas

The kids' Christmas pajamas this year were very cute!  After a busy day and lots of activities, the kids were not thrilled about taking even more pictures but we finally got most of them to cooperate.
The "bigs"
The "middles"
 The "littles"
The boys
The girls

 The Rowlands
 The Browns
And I'll leave you with the many faces of Ryan!  There's never a dull moment when he is around!

Thanks Granna for another year of cute Christmas pajamas!

Christmas with Granna and Granstan

We had a great Christmas with my family this year!  Because Uncle Jon had to work on Christmas Day, we celebrated on Christmas Eve.

We told the kids they couldn't open any presents until they took some family pictures and it worked like a charm!  There are definitely some advantages to the kids getting older!
Our annual Rhone family picture- We are excited to announce that next year we get to make room for one more little one!  Congrats Aunt MerMer and Uncle Craig!  We can't wait!
Silly faces!
A little puppy love in between pictures!
As soon as pictures were taken, the kids couldn't wait to open their stockings and presents.
We had four very surprised and excited girls when they opened their gift from Granna and Granstan- their very own American Girl doll!
Granstan got Parker his very own drone!  I think the adults are going to enjoy playing with this just as much as Parker!
Granstan also made each family their very own tetherball set.  I see a lot of family tetherball competitions in the future!
After presents and dinner, Granna played several games with the kids including Pass the Present and Pin the Nose on Frosty.

Instead of acting out the Nativity this year, Granna decided to try something new- a handbell choir! The kids learned and performed "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" for all of the adults.  Despite having only practiced a couple of times, they did an excellent job!  I can't wait to see what songs they will learn next year!
We ended the evening making cotton candy in the new cotton candy maker that Granna got all the kids.
We had such a fun day!  I am so blessed to have such a close knit family.  I honestly can't imagine doing life without each and every one of them.  I love holidays that bring us all together and allow us to spend quality time together.  I can't wait until next year when we have a new little one to love!
