The Triplets are Here!

Surprise!  They're here!  The triplets decided to make their debut 8 weeks early and were born yesterday morning!  Meredith was admitted to the hospital on Thursday because of her blood pressure.  The plan was to stay in the hospital on bed rest for two weeks until her scheduled C-section on April 20th.  She called me yesterday morning to tell me that she had started having contractions overnight and that they were going to take the babies early.  Emily and I took off of work so we could be at the hospital with her and Craig.

After they took her and Craig to the delivery room, her sweet nurse came and got Emily and I and took us to the hall that led from the delivery room to the NICU.  She told us we could get our first look at the babies on their way to the NICU.  We were so excited to be able to be there and take pictures/video for my mom who was at home keeping Holland.

Luke Thomas Harshey was born first and weighed 4 lbs 12 oz.
Hadley Elizabeth Harshey was second and was the smallest at 3 lbs 12 oz.
Kathryn (Wryn) Reese Harshey was last and weighed 4 lbs 1 oz.
After they moved Meredith to recovery, Craig came and got us and let us go up to the NICU with him to check on the babies.  They were all so little but so perfect!
The anesthesia made Meredith very sick and she had a very rough afternoon.  I'm glad Emily and I could be there to help her through a hard day.  They all have a long road ahead of them but I'm glad they're here and are doing well so far.  And I feel so blessed that I got to be a part of such a special day!

Easter at Granna's

Easter at Granna's is always fun, especially when you have so many cousins to hunt Easter eggs with!
Everyone had a Golden Egg to find this year!
We have to be creative when hiding Parker and Addison's eggs in order to make them work at finding them!
The boys
The girls
This sweet girl is going to be a big sister soon!
The kids loved finding a $2 bill in their Golden Eggs.
Granstan was such a good sport!  He let the kids break the confetti eggs on his head!
Thanks Granna and Granstan for another fun holiday!  Next Easter, there will be 10 sets of eggs to hide!

Easter 2018

We enjoyed a fun weekend celebrating Easter with my family.   The kids loved waking up to see what was in their Easter baskets and looking for all the eggs the Easter bunny had hidden around the house.
We went to church before heading to Granna's for a fun afternoon with the cousins.
These kids clean up real nice!
Happy Easter from The Browns! He is Risen!  He is Risen indeed!

March Little Things

Eden got new bedding and the girls decided they needed to celebrate with a sleepover!
Lily and I enjoyed a little treat after school one day!
Spring baseball has started!  Parker is still playing with the Diamond Kings.  I can't wait to watch him play this season.
Eden has enjoyed attending AWANA at Field Street Baptist this year.  She was so excited to show off her crazy hair one night!
Cory and I went to our first Rangers game of the season, courtesy of Drs. Ranelle and Hu.  I hope we will be able to take the kids to a game before the season is over.
Granna made Easter cookies one day and wanted to recreate a picture that she took with Parker and Addison many years ago.
They've all changed just a little bit!
Eden and Lily were invited to Grace and Brooke's birthday party.  Lily loved getting to ride the pony.  Eden really wanted to try but just couldn't make herself get up on it this time.
It's been a fun but busy month!  We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the triplets next month.  Lots of exciting times are ahead!
