June Little Things

I can't believe the first month of summer is already over!  I've enjoyed sleeping in and have been doing a lot of cleaning out around the house.  The start of summer was a little bittersweet because my parents decided to sell my childhood house and downsize.  I've know for a while that it was coming but it was much harder than I ever expected to walk away from that house for the last time.  

The kids have really missed having a pool to swim in this summer.  Luckily, our good family friend has offered for us to use her pool whenever we want.  I have a feeling that we may have to start thinking about putting our own pool in next summer!

Lily has enjoyed going to Granna's new house and eating lunch in the neighborhood pavilion.

She's also gone with Granna to help take care of the triplets.  She is such a good help!

Parker and Addison enjoyed a night out with Granna and Granstan.  They went to Antonio's- one of Parker's favorite Mexican food restaurants!

The girls went to VBS at FUMC.  Aubrey got to join them the last two days which made it extra fun!

One of Lily's best friends celebrated her birthday and invited Lily to her party at the trampoline park.  She had a great time with her friends!

The summer is almost half over but we have a lot of fun things planned for July, including our annual trip to Colorado!

Camp Fuego

Parker just got back from Camp Fuego- a week long middle school church youth camp in Louisiana. We sure missed him but he had such a good time and I'm so thankful to all the chaperones who helped him have a great week!  

Happy Birthday to ME!

Today Emily and I celebrated our 42nd birthday!

I treated the kids with donuts this morning and decided to pick a few treats for me too!

Cory and the kids surprised me with a new purse and latte coffee maker!

Tonight we had a family dinner at Abuelo's.  It was sad not having Parker there to help me celebrate but I know he is having a great time at camp!

Meredith and Holland were able to come to dinner and Holland surprised us with the prettiest birthday flowers!

I am so grateful for another year with my family! I can't wait to see what's in store for me this upcoming year!

Happy 3rd Birthday Holland!

Today we helped Holland celebrate her 3rd birthday at her Daniel Tiger birthday party!

She had such a fun time playing with her friends and opening presents!

It's hard to believe she is already 3 years old!  It seems like just yesterday that we were meeting her for the first time!
