February Little Things

Another month has come and gone... 2018 is flying by!  We only had a couple of little things to share this month:

Lily loves helping Granstan with his bird feeders so he surprised her one day with her own feeder in our backyard.  It took almost a week before any birds came to eat but once they came, they didn't stop!  She and Eden love looking out the window to see how many birds have stopped by!
Parker took a huge fall on his bike and got very banged up!  He was pretty miserable for a few days but is finally feeling better.
The cut on his hand was the worst one and I have a feeling it's going to leave a big scar!

Happy Birthday Addi Lane!

Today Lily got to help her friend, Addi Laine, celebrate her birthday with a painting party.
All of the girls got to paint their own unicorn.
Lily did a great job and was so proud of her finished product!
Happy Birthday Addi!  Thank you for including Lily in your fun birthday celebration!

4th Six Weeks Awards Program

Today was the 4th six weeks awards program at school.  All three kids earned A Honor Roll certificates and Parker and Lily earned the Perfect Attendance award (Eden missed two days with the flu).
Lily also earned the Grizzly Greatness Award!  She was so excited to finally have a sign to put in our yard! We are so proud of her for being a good citizen and having good behavior every day!

Gerard's Read-A-Thon

The kids just finished a two week Read-A-Thon that helped raised money for our school.  There was a contest in each class to see which student could read the most minutes during the two weeks.  The winner in each class got to go on a reward field trip to Cici's Pizza.  Lily was highly motivated and read every single night.
Today, we all got to dress up as our favorite storybook character.
Eden was Eva from Owl Diaries.
Lily was Fern from Charlotte's Web.
And Parker was Percy Jackson from The Lightning Thief.
Lily was so excited when one of our 5th grade teachers also came dressed as Fern!
All of the teachers dressed up too!  Here are the first grade teachers dressed as all the Pinkalicious characters.
Emily and I organized this fundraiser together.  It was a fun and successful two weeks (we raised almost $6,000) but we were definitely glad to see it come to an end!

Little Dribblers Prime team

Tonight Parker had his last prime basketball game of the season.  His team came in first place for the season.  He learned so much from his coaches and gained a lot of confidence in his abilities.
We are proud of all of the hard work and effort Parker put into this basketball season.  I loved watching him play and already can't wait for the next season to start!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!

The kids had a fun day celebrating at school! Luckily, their party times were staggered so I was able to make it to all of them for a little while.

Parker’s class exchanged cards and had lots of treats.
Lily’s class exchanged cards, played games, and ate lots of goodies!
Lily was so excited that Daddy was able to make it to her party this year!
Eden’s class had already exchanged cards so they just ate and played several games.
Eden was one of the only ones in her whole class who threw her heart on the unicorns horn!
We got Maggie a little Valentine treat too!  She LOVED her new chew toy and carried it everywhere she went today!  She even used it as a pillow during her nap!  She’s such a sweet girl!

Aunt MerMer's Baby Shower

Today we got to celebrate the upcoming arrival of the triplets with a baby shower for Aunt MerMer.
The girls loved getting to see and play with Tatum and Parker- Uncle Craig’s nieces who drove in from Oklahoma.
Aunt MerMer got so many wonderful things for the babies, including lots of diapers and wipes!
It was nice to see some of our extended family that we don’t get to see very often.
It won’t be long until the triplets are here!  I can’t wait for lots of baby snuggles very soon!!

While We Were Gone...

The kids had a great time staying with Granna and Granstan while we were in Colorado.  Their entire Saturday was spent at their basketball games.  Lily sent me this picture that she took during Eden's game.  She's been trying to pull that tooth for weeks and finally got it out with the help of some hard candy!
Eden had her last basketball game while we were gone.  I hated that I missed it especially when I found out that Eden scored her 2nd basket of the season.  But I am thankful Granna was there to get some pictures for me!

Eden had the BEST coach this season!  I was a little worried at the beginning because he was very loud and intense.  But he was so positive and encouraging and Eden gained a lot of confidence and learned so much from him.  I hope she can be on his team again next year.
Eden's teacher, Mrs. Click, was so sweet to come and watch her last game.
Parker did well at his game too!  Luckily, this was not his last game so I will get to see him in action again next weekend!
I'm so thankful for my parents and how well they take care of the kids while we are gone.  I can always enjoy my time away so much more knowing they're having fun!
