September Little Things

We were SO busy in September and I don't think things are going to slow down anytime soon!  Maggie is always willing to find time in all the busyness to slow down and snuggle!
Eden surprised us all by deciding she wanted to run for Student Council Treasurer.  Unfortunately, she got cold feet at the last minute and didn't go through with her speech but we were so proud of her for trying.
The Rowlands invited us to the annual day at Hawaiian Falls for City of Mansfield employees.  The weather was great and the kids had a great time.
Meredith and Craig came over for dinner and Parker got put in charge of feeding Hadley.  She's not the best eater and it takes some patience to get her to take a bite.  He's always so sweet with the babies and did a great job!
And now we begin one of the busiest seasons of the year.  We have lots of fun things coming up over the next few months and I'm looking forward to making lots of new memories with the kids!

Happy Birthday Addison!

Addison turned 12 last week and tonight we got to help her celebrate her birthday with an ice skating outing at the STARS practice facility in Mansfield.
The girls had never been ice skating before so they were a little nervous to give it a try.  Luckily, there were buckets to help them until they felt comfortable.  By the end of the evening, they loved it and were both trying to skate without the buckets.
Sweet cousins
After ice skating, we all went to Braums for an ice cream treat.  It was a great night celebrating Addison and trying something new.  I definitely think we will try ice skating again soon!

1st 6 Weeks Awards

Today the girls had their awards program for the first 6 weeks. They both earned awards for Perfect Attendance, Perfect Conduct and A Honor Roll.  Lily also was chosen by Mrs. Click for the Grizzly Greatness Award- an award given to one boy and one girl per class who show good citizenship during the six weeks.  I am so proud of both girls for their achievements in class!  They make me proud every day!
