Christmas Eve with Grandma and Papa

Grandma and Papa came over for dinner and gifts on Christmas Eve.  We had a nice time eating and visiting with them before we opened presents.

Grandma is quickly becoming the shortest one in the family!

After they left, the kids got to open their annual Christmas Eve gift which is always their new ornament for the tree.

Lily got the cookies, milk, and carrots ready and then it was time for bed.  The kids didn't complain about an earlier bedtime... they knew the sooner they got to sleep, the sooner they'd be able to see what Santa had brought them!
