Yesterday, my sweet niece Aubrey turned 7! She has never been one to want a big birthday party and prefers to spend her special day with just her cousins. Since the girls all got American Girl dolls for Christmas, my sister decided to let her have her "party" at the American Girl store in Dallas this year. The girls all brought their dolls and we got to have lunch at the bistro and then shop in the store.
Heading up to the bistro
I am so thankful for these four girls and the incredibly close relationships that they share. With only three years separating the oldest from the youngest, they all have an incredibly tight bond. There is truly no one in this world my girls would rather spend time with. I can only pray that they remain close as they grow into teenagers and adults. It was so fun to watch Aubrey as she opened her presents. She was so excited about each and every one of them!
The bistro provided the cutest cake (and it actually tasted good too!).
My mom's gift to all the girls was getting their doll's ears pierced!
It was such a fun day celebrating with Aubrey! I couldn't think of a more perfect way to spend her birthday!
Aubrey asked Aunt MerMer to bring her childhood American Girl doll. How could she say 'no' to a seven year old?!?!
Happy Birthday Aubrey! We love you so much! Thank you for letting us share in your special day!
