The girls had their awards program for the 2nd six weeks today. They both received awards for Perfect Conduct, Perfect Attendance, and A Honor Roll. Cory and I are so proud of them for their hard work!
The 5th grade teachers also announced during the awards program that the 5th graders will be going to an overnight camp in April. This is the first time they've taken this trip and the students are very excited!
I have been married to Cory, my high school sweetheart, since June 1998. I work part time as a reading specialist at the elementary school that I attended as a child. Cory is an optometrist in our hometown. Our son, Parker, was born in April 2007 and our daughter, Eden, joined our family in November 2008. We welcomed our third child, Lily, in October 2010.
