Two days after we returned from our cruise we had our annual BClan Reunion at Heath's house. It is one of our favorite days of the year and the kids always have a great time! I told the kids that they couldn't swim until I got at least one family picture with everyone smiling. It only took two tries and then they were off! I'm pretty sure they swam nonstop until we called them in for dinner!
All but two of the guys were able to make it to the reunion this year. (We missed you Scott and Bart!) It is so fun to watch them with their families and kids. With the addition of Lincoln (Brad's newest son), the BClan is now up to 15 kids. We sure have grown over the past six years!
We were very excited that Emily, Jon, Addison, Aubrey, Ryan, Meredith and Craig were all able to come this year too! Fun days are always more fun when our cousins are there!
In addition to swimming, the kids enjoyed jumping on the trampoline.
Once it finally got dark, it was time for fireworks.
Lily was terrified of the fireworks this year and Eden wasn't a big fan either, so I ended up staying inside and visiting with some of the other moms whose kids were scared. Lily made a new friend, Lydia (Brad's daughter), and they had a great time playing inside during the fireworks show.
As always, we had a great day! The food was excellent and the fellowship with friends was even better! It is always so much fun catching up with old friends and reminiscing about the past. I'm already looking forward to next year's reunion!
