Preschool Christmas Parties

Yesterday, Parker and Eden had their Christmas parties at Thursday School.  Parker's class began their party by singing some Christmas songs for the parents.  They were all dressed like Rudolph, complete with antlers and red noses, and looked very cute!  Then they enjoyed some games, food, and a surprise visit from Santa.  They also gave the parents a Christmas present that they had wrapped themselves- a new coffee mug.

Eden started her party by making an ornament to put on our tree.  They also enjoyed lots of goodies and a visit from Santa!

All of the kids had made reindeer t-shirts to wear at their parties.  They all looked so cute and I was even able to get Eden to smile for a picture in her shirt!

Both Parker and Eden's classes did a book exchange rather than a toy exchange.  Eden got a new coloring book and Parker got a new book about Jesus.  They both had a good time at their parties!

Today, Parker had his celebration at Sunshine Preschool.  Instead of having a party and bringing a toy for another student, they all brought hats, socks, and mittens to give to needy children and they presented them to Operation Blessing in a special chapel service.  Then they all went the to fellowship hall for Christmas goodies.

After they placed their gifts under the tree, they sang several songs for the parents.  Parker really got into the singing and sang so loud that he was practically the only one you could hear.  It was very funny, especially since he can't carry a tune in a bucket, but I was quite proud of him regardless!

It has been a fun but very busy week with a lot of celebrating and I am looking forward to staying home with the kids and being lazy next week!
