Get Well Soon, Papa!

Two weeks ago, Papa (Cory's dad) had knee replacement surgery. Everything was going well for a few days and then he gave us a huge scare when they discovered he had formed 4 blood clots in his lungs. Everything came to a stand still with his recovery while they got the potentially fatal blood clots under control. This past Thursday, he was moved to a rehab center in Fort Worth.

Today we decided to take the kids up to his "new hospital" (as Parker called it) and check on him. We were so pleased to see how well he is doing. He has been up, walking around and will probably get to come home later this week. We have been and will continue to pray that he has a very speedy recovery. We love you, Papa!
Thank goodness for iPhones that kept our children quiet and happy inside the rehab center!!

After we left the rehab center, we decided to take the kids to lunch at Chucky Cheese's. The kids had a great time playing lots of games and we were excited that Uncle Steven (Cory's brother) got to join us for all of the fun!
