Photo Dump

It's time for an iPhone photo dump.  We've been busy the last few weeks!

Parker finished up his regular tball season at the end of May.  His coach, Coach Joe, was always calling them "little men", so we decided to play a little joke on him after the last game.  All of the boys put on mustaches for the last team huddle to show Coach Joe that they had grown into little men throughout the season!  We had such a good season and are so thankful to Joe for giving up his time and weeknights to work with our boys.  With his encouragement, they all learned a lot and made so much progress.  Go Indians!
Lily thought it would be funny to wear Parker's baseball cap!  I'd definitely cheer for her if she was on my team!  She might not get any home runs but she would by far be the cutest one on the team!
We spent Memorial Day weekend cooking out with friends.  We were invited out to Trip's house and Cole's family came too.  The kids swam, played baseball and ran around having lots of fun.  I was so busy visiting that this is the only picture I got.  Lily and Eden both had fun playing on this rope swing while the boys were playing baseball.
The end of May marked another milestone in Eden's life.  After two years of attending Sonlight Express on Wednesday mornings, Eden will no longer be going.  Next year, she will go to preschool on Wednesday mornings so Lily and Granna will go without her.  Mr. Reed has been such a wonderful teacher and is always so patient with Eden.  I know she will miss him next year.
Lily can now ride her tricycle without any help.  Can you tell how proud she is?!?!?
Two days after the tornado, both Parker and Eden came down with the stomach bug.  The three of us were up all night long puking and watching Tom and Jerry.  Since we all three couldn't fit on the couch comfortably, we drug Parker's mattress into the living room and made a makeshift infirmary.  I sure hope I don't have to do that again anytime soon.
One afternoon, while I was in the kindergarten pick up line, my mom called and told me that Lily had a bad rash on her legs.  I called her pediatrician and she said it was an allergic reaction to something she had come in contact with.  The rash would get better with Benadryl but would flare up a couple of times a day.  After three days, I finally took her to the doctor.  They did blood work that came back normal and could never give me a definite answer to what made her react that way.  After lots of brainstorming, we narrowed it down to either some raw, unfiltered honey that she ate or a new scent of laundry detergent that I had used a few times.  We may never know what it was but I am thankful that it hasn't come back since.
At one point the rash spread to her arm and looked like a smiley face!
Eden's last day of school was supposed to be Water Day.  She was so excited about it and couldn't wait to play in the water with her friends.  Unfortunately, plans were changed when school was dismissed early due to a chance of severe weather that included more tornadoes.  Eden was a little disappointed that her last day didn't go as planned, but we are still so thankful for a wonderful year of preschool with Miss Tammy and can't wait to go back next fall.
