Playing in the Rain

Last week, we had an entire day of wonderful, hard rain.  It didn't make a dent in the drought, but it did make for a fun filled afternoon!  The kids were so excited (and in a little disbelief) when their daddy opened the front door and told them to go run in the rain.  They were a little hesitant at first, but before long, they were running up and down the street and jumping in and out of puddles! 

They were freezing by the end, but it was nothing a hot shower couldn't take care of!

Lots of memories were made in the rain that day!  I love that it's the simple things in life that can make kids the happiest!
